Work offline and sync later

  • Open the project before you go offline.
  • Ensure local edits are possible in your current project state/backing (for example private browser-backed, private folder-backed, or published with local copy).
  1. Check your current sync/collaboration status before disconnecting.
  2. Continue editing while offline.
  3. In shared projects, watch for Connecting/Offline status changes in the collaboration indicator.
  4. Avoid risky refactors until connection recovers.
  5. Reconnect and wait for sync to return to a healthy state.
  6. Reopen key files and confirm your local changes are still present.
  7. Review comments/version surfaces to confirm remote state has caught up.
  • Local edits remain after reconnect.
  • Collaboration/sync status returns to healthy.
  • Shared metadata surfaces (comments/history) repopulate after reconnection.
  • Edits appear local-only after reconnect
  • Wait for sync to settle, then refresh affected files and check Sync and offline.
  • Collaboration remains disconnected
  • Reopen the project and verify membership/role status in Real-time collaboration.
  • Storage behavior is confusing after reconnect
  • Confirm whether the workspace is private browser-backed, private folder-backed, or published in Storage and privacy.
